First comment - and amazement

Well. I guess I’m hooked now. My first post yesterday (which I probably shouldn’t have even written) has a comment on it! I must say, I’m a little embarrassed after looking at Paul Boag’s Site. I’m a graphic designer and I just haven’t had the chance to update the css of this blog as I’m working on a <BUZZWORD>”super secret project.” </BUZZWORD> Anyways - from one line in wordpress I immediately had all the blog search engines come here. This might sound like “Yeah… and?” to those used to blogging, but I’ve never seen traffic like this generated without so much as a peep out of me. I mean, even telling search engines to crall your website takes at least a few days.
What if they had something like trackback for regular (non blog) websites? Yeah yeah, google sitemaps, etc. But this was incredibly easy and I even reached a live person - all with less than trying and with 0 expectations.
